Phobias include fear and anxiety which is triggered by a specific situation. The person anticipates terrifying consequences of encountering the object of their fear; which can be anything from a body fluid, bodies of water, spiders, heights, animals and enclosed spaces. 

A specific phobia about being in a place or situation where escape is difficult or embarrassing and where help may be unavailable. For example: fear of heights can lead to avoidance of bridges; fear of accidents can lead a person to avoid driving or traveling on airplanes, in cars, or on buses or trains.
